CAHILL Instrumentation is a registered Class ‘A’ Engineering company within the Province of Newfoundland & Labrador. Our business core competency is Electrical Engineering, and notably the sub-discipline of Instrumentation & Control (EI&C) System Engineering, which encompasses industrial process design, the specification and layout of process instrumentation, specification / design and development of PLC/DCS control system cabinets and software, as well as the design and development SCADA system infrastructure and software. In the industrial realm, many control functions are performed within electrical subsystems. Thus, our engineering and design experience extends beyond the 0-24V control realm into the design of AC distribution systems, protection and control cabinets, and DC power systems (e.g. UPS). In recent years, we have also developed telecommunications expertise through key hires, acquisition, and numerous projects involving the development and implementation of wireless SCADA infrastructure. Through our relationship with sister companies Rawdon Technologies and LYNK Automation, as well as trusted business partner ABL Engineering, CAHILL Instrumentation has developed a niche in EI&C design for industrial and municipal water and waste water treatment systems. In our most recent EPC contract for Fluor Canada and Vale NL, we delivered the potable water treatment plant for the Long Harbour Nickel Plant Construction Camp.
