Birmingham-Toledo, Inc. (BTI) is a weight-based independent systems integrator. Based in Birmingham, Alabama, BTI has been a Mettler-Toledo distributor for almost seventy years. In the past decade, BTI has expanded its repertoire to include systems integration. BTI uses Mettler-Toledo controls and incorporates PLCs, wireless (including proprietary and 802.11 standards), and material handling equipment to integrate entire weight-based systems. Our in-house programming staff utilizes PC controls on a daily basis to create individualized control systems to meet our clients' needs. BTI is ISO 9001 certified and ISO 17025 accredited through the home office. With over one-thousand customers and over forty employees, including three satellite offices, BTI is one of the largest companies of its kind in the Southeastern United States.
