Applied International Motion, llc (A.I.M.) specializes in motion control system engineering, integration of control system products into a customer's machine, and the complete fabrication of machines for a wide variety of industrial applications. As of Aug 2004 A.I.M. has acted as a system integrator for high performance motion control on over 180 projects including integration of motion control systems into existing customer machinery to improve the machinery's productivity. A.I.M. has either contracted to do the control system on a customer's machine design or completely designed and manufactured machines. A.I.M.'s experience has included laser welding of parts, machines to drill/counter sink holes into the large parts associated with jet fighters, fastener insertion, vision systems (in more than 5 machines) to locate in real time while drilling or welding a part, high speed cutting of materials, automated assembly of parts, many packaging applications, coating, high speed material handling and part storage and retrieval, and most recently in medical parts handling.
